Hayden Panettiere is best known for her role on NBC's superhero drama Heroes or from her child-actress days in films like Remember The Titans and soap opera The Guiding Light. Shi is cute as a button, and pretty socially active, even getting a warrant for interfering with unsavory dolphin hunting in Japan. But that is not enough for the Candie's spokesgirl, she wants to be a pop star, too! Her first single "Wake Up Call" is not a Maroon 5 cover, it's a reggae flavored summer pop jam that sounds way too much like Paris Hilton's minor hit "Stars Are Blind." The lyrics are equally silly: her man is ignoring her, so she claims "I think I'll have to cheat/to keep your eyes on me." I really dislike the song, and in this rough-cut video, she's gone past cute/hot into slutty. Sad.
