Do You Like Free Christmas Music? Of Course You Do!

I do love Christmas music, and the classics are worth listening to over and over again. But sometimes you can hear a Christmas song too many times, especially a newer one. Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" is a classic I don't mind hearing dozens of time during December, Christina Aguliera's "Merry Christmas, Baby" can get old after a couple listens.

But how can one afford a bunch of new holiday releases each year? After all, they only get played for a month. I noticed Sixpence None The Richer has a new Christmas CD, so does Sarah McLachlan and Enya. They all sound great, but seriously that's about 40 bucks right there I could be spending on Christmas gifts for the children. Besides, I already have about twenty CDs to brighten my holidays.

Well, how about some free holiday tunes? That's what I'm talking 'bout, mama! Amazon.com is giving away a new MP3 for each day in December. They are saying these tracks are available for a limited time, but I was able to download the first three days worth today, so it's not a one track a day situation. Today's song is from Sixpence's brand new The Dawn Of Grace but yesterday's was from Barenaked For The Holidays which came out a few years ago. So stuff your iPod full of winter cheer, for no moneys!

Also, make sure you're checking iTunes for the Free Download Of The Week. This week it's Melissa Etheridge's "Christmas In America", (not a cover of the Pat Benatar single) last week was some old school Tony Bennett.
