The Gaga has taken over my CD player, I've been spinning her debut disc The Fame nonstop for months. Her "LoveGame" is the third single to make a slow rise to upper parts of the charts, she released the video and single for it months ago and finally "Poker Face" has slowed enough for radio to embrace some new shit.
Meanwhile, our Lady of Gaganess is busy readying another video to replace "LoveGame" when it finally dies down. "Paparazzi" is not my favorite song on the album, after all "Boys Boys Boys" is my summer jam '09! But it's a decent hip-hop flavored track, and it creates the perfect backdrop for the MOST EPIC VIDEO OF 2009, or any of the aughts. Seriously, it's like "Thriller" for the gaysted club set. Set aside about eight minutes before you hit play, it's that epic!
Opening with Lady Gaga and hot dude in '70s noir-meets-couture underthings, making out on a bed. BEFORE HE PUSHES HER OVER A RAILING! Yeah, sounds like Gaga's love life is Denise Richards-level complicated. She isn't killed, but her recovery involves some fierce wheelchair dancing and a series of dead chicks. I didn't quite follow the whole plot, but of course she wears some crazy-ass costumes so I'm all about it. Watch:
